Have you been in a situation where there’s a problem you want to resolve but are limited in actions? Right now I am in that place. The irony is I am able to update the blog; anyhow here’s the latest.

While in my leisure, there was a video that intrigue my attention in Yahoo’s Who Knew?, some know that people who would like to be citizens of the U.S. must take this exam; it was fun finding out information about the exam and what it would ask to those taking it previously. You learn something new every day.

People who consume Chinese food on a regular basis (or from time to time) here is an article for your interest from Yahoo Health; the list just shows frozen foods from the grocery store, but still important. The breakdown consists of foods with high portions of sodium and alternative foods with better balance. It’s necessary to maintain a well-balance meal, or you could have acid reflex.

From Match.com, there was this post regarding colors and their meaning in people; for example red could have a meaning of passion and rage. For the other colors I would recommend heading to the link as my memory can’t serve me at the moment.

When looking at the Financially Fit videos, this one caught my attention because of the suggestions; how to start a business under $20,000 dollars is the message, I would even like to do that sometime in the future. The tutorial gives out indications on what to do to keep your business active.

To me, keeping a medium weight is necessary with exercise and balance food plan, when I looked at this Spice article, I still question if the spices listed do help you lose weight while enjoying your food. One mention is cinnamon; good in small portions, but limit how much you consume for your health.

Ever had an item you no longer need or wish to get rid-off, the Recycle bin is always a good solution for items like paper, plastic, and glass. But the article talks about items that are not as easy to dissolve or recycle like a battery or compose of different garbage and such.

Now this article is for people interested in cooking an apple pie in Eating well; when baking, you must select the type of apple you want to stuff your pie with. It is very important to pay attention to the characteristics of the apple, as the features variate from one another and taste too.

This video could speak for itself, a person made a very awesome playout of Star Wars orinal trilogy (episode 4-6) in paper. Very charismatic and could add ingenuise imagination work; see it to understand!

Among all the interesting videos I’ve seen, the Super Mario Piano Deluxe Song would be on the top; there is this pianoist playing some of the most memoriable tunes in Mario’s video game career history. Check it out to see the skills.

It’s been a long time since the last update of any news, reviews, or micellaneous around the house; but what I found may blow your mind away.

To start the roller coaster up, we’ll take a trip down memory lane at Gamespot drama blog with Subyman, as he takes on Older Games. To summarize the whole speeach, I shall use user ‘hotdiddykong’ comment on this:

And to that I have to agree; some people have underappreciated the true value a game may have just because it is colorful, they only follow the sheep herd to more realistic gaming. The bad thing right now (at least in my eyes) realistic gaming used to be popular from 2005 to 2009, now gaming companies don’t know what to pull out of their hats so it could ‘sell’ (which is sad).

To add more insult in the industry, there’s a rumor going around with the Call of Duty series and it is ugly like no other (like shooting yourself in the foot). From Gamespot, there’s a video posted on Youtube by a user from 360junkies Forums; in there, he illustrates what may be the next step in Activision line of printing “a required membership to play Call of Duty” (aside from Live membership). Creators and such have posted that: “No, you will not have to ‘Pay to Play’#CODBlackOps Multiplayer either. Rumor -> Squashed,” But without any suggestion of this being offiline or online, this rumor may be poping around the wallet corner.

Now to relief the bad taste from these dissapointments here come more dissapointments from Gametrailers in video form. As they countdown what dissapointed in form of gameplay, misleading characters, hype, and deathstar online; the only exception here is there are some good games given the “you didn’t do it right” face, but in all my opinion of game #9 should have been higher on the list around 7 or 6.

AND NOW for the real treat (not kidding); while exploring the vast land of the safari (net), I’ve found something interesting (sometimes only found in Nico Nico Videos). The first of the discoveries is a game called Megaman 7 (Rockman 7 in Japan), nothing new for you then how about giving it the flip to 8 bit, now that is something. So here is a video from a man named Clementj426 from Youtube playing the game and the link to play the game yourself from Indie Games Blog.

For the last here is two sites with a pint of greatness first up is fan-made version of Megaman X with the famous Vocaloid character Hatsune Miku as X for you to play around from Hobby blog; there is only one warning, it is in Japanese. The second is no brainer the blog site to Indie Games which includes games one can try out here.

And a little easter egg for those who like Dragon Ball Z, here is an OAV (original animation video) based-off the video game released in Japan; the only downside (or upside) it’s in Japanese but with subtitles for one to read. 

I thought the computer didn’t save the hard work of me writing this (luckily it did!); and so I’ll go and sort out the crap that the net has given me.

OK, for the news that was too big to hold on the other post along with other mick-mags (still looking for a job position) P_P; ok time to kick it a notch and finish work that hasn’t been touch for months (and I emphasize that!). 

 First is a look back at some classic games that everyone pretty much like and it only existed in the arcade “Alien VS Predator”. Sega decided to take a trip down memory lane to look at the gem stone from the older days made by Capcom; similar to the Final Fight game, you take on a human, predator, or other to battle the fearocious aliens and beast from beyond. This was a good game, but Sega couldn’t replicated the fun it had. 

 Second is more memorial than those articles of cashing games. A 32 year-old man explains his reason why he still play mario games at his age; he tells of what creative ideas each title offers over the next, what each game offers as a reward for playing them and waits for more greatness from a company that knows its plumbing business.  Third caught me off suprise (kind of) as Nintendo and Game Freak anounce that later this year, they shall be releasing the fifth generation of Pokemon (we are going beyond the gods). Not much is revealed yet on how its going to be (only two pokemon confirm at Serebii.net), but the suspense awaits us in this next installment. 

 Forth reminds us of why we should not mess with Sashquash. A fellow 2 Chan follower post the most unforgiving (and not forgetable) moments that have happen in Anime Japan. The list is so long that makes one think “wait, this really happen?” as for most of us don’t live in the coast of Japan. Warning, various terms can be called not appropiate to read (I think).

 Fifth takes a turn on GoNintendo world; you know how Capcom released that VS game a while ago for the Wii, well they have the inside scoop with an inside review of the game for those interested.

 Sixth sits on the option of the term ”rebuy”; how the term affects on rebuying games you already own on the XBOX 360. Not many users approve of this idea on re-puchase titles one owns just to add into the virtual game room of your avatar.

 Seventh is a question a one fellow blogger at Kotaku wonders; he witness the appearance of the Metal Gear Arcade Unit at one of the Game Expo’s with a vast release date soon. Now there is nothing of such available at the arcades rendering the question “When will they release them?” Full article below.

 Eight is a little how to in the input connection. Have you ever wanted to play one of your arcade-ported games in an arcade, but the controllers don’t do the configuration setting; not to worry as the little tutorial on the page below explains how to do that.

 Ninth is an insider look at the CES technology starting Project Natal. There is a rumor the team who created the camera moting-sensing technology gave a sneak peak to Nintendo first before selling their gadget to Microsoft. The reactions are told in the article below.

 Tenth shows a brief history of how the term “Tablets” became, and why now is more defining that before. The explanation is given by the team at CNET.

Well, comes and goes another year where the big stars at the Super Bowl fight-off gladiator style to win the national cup of this years 44 round of supremacy. Who shall win and is going home defeated; the excitement is this intense that I’ve seen men shopping at my local supermarket for food. On to another day!

First is a little late (or two weeks late) Super Bowl Ad’s (classic and newer ones); all collected in Yahoo Video network for you to view. Now I now why Apple became famous in 1984, its relation to the 1984 novel.

Second is an interesting article I read in the financial district of Home Investment. New trends are growing from people who are remodeling or buying a new property; among the top list of choices, kitchen rings king while energy efficient climbs high on the list. Check it for yourself.

Third is a very intriguing video of the Olympics during the Beijing period. BBC did a little animated video based on the “Journey To The West” book; after watching the video, it left me amazed of how the Olympics could have been, as one of the users exclaims “If only the Olympics where this amazing”. Give it a look.

Fourth has a test for you, in the sweet’s department. An analysis on which type of chocolate a person would prefer eating, the milk-butter kind or the cacao strong kind. The article gives a list of the percent of cacao each chocolate has and you decide which ends up in your mouth.

Fifth is also a bit late (relation to Super Bowl weekend). If you were in town shopping for food for your party or dinner; the Yahoo crew cruises down to see which type of Chicken Wing should you buy to taste (different flavors and spices) from Domino’s, Pizza Hut, Popeye’s, KFC, and Papa John’s. Choose wisely with your food.

Sixth takes home sports to new level of pain, if you are using the Wii Balance Board. You’ve read the reports of how the consumer were braking there TV screens and injuring themselves with the Wii Remote (I was one of them, almost shock myself with the light-bulb), well now the Wii is in the ring of bad news but it involves people having body pain, like when one gets a sore thumb when you play too much. So much for the jackets.

Seventh has been store in the computer before clean-up, but Brawl makes appearances with one fellow cosplayer. Exploring the pages of Geekologie for cosplay photos (can’t remember if I uploaded the Zelda or Pea…remembering) came this entry with a guy dressed with different characters from the games; some cool, other rad, and one that is funny. Give it a check and look out for the manly Samus.

Eighth is in the same realm of Geekologie, just in a different partner site. People who have watched Nickelodeon’s Avatar: The Last Airbender (not the movie with the blue guys) know that it is a well planned story and crafted animation (looks like Japanese Anime, but its done by Korea hands); cheer as in a Super Bowl commercial, they are developing a Avatar: The Last Airbender movie (not the movie with the blue guys). Check details below.

Ninth takes my gears and makes them work on how shall this work. More details are release (or same) on Sony plan of online premium service; as discussed before, they are going to incorporate a fee service on their system while keeping online play and Wi-fi free. Thinking chair; if I understand correctly, they shall leave online play and wi-fi free, but implement a service to connect to their servers for stable downloads or have a fee for the use of the PSN. Hm… need more information before determining conclusion.

Tenth I didn’t see until later in the day and made one of Screwattacks predictions come true (we all new it was going to happen) Sega has finally announce the name for Project Needlemouse *drum roll*… Sonic 4, continuing from Sonic and Knuckles story after 16 years (it seems that the last straw was with Werehog); the game will be release in episodes (then full game).

Haven’t been doing much besides cleaning my emails (heavy on spam) , computer maintenance (unresponsive), and starting looking for a job to maintain myself; but I’ll assure you that the blog will continue.

First of on the list is an article I found at The MMN; can’t remember the exact date when all the Megaman Zero games were release, but they are coming to the DS, all four games in one cartridge. I say yes to this as my copy of the first game was unfortunately swap (stole along with Kirby); and those who haven’t played the games, played them to enjoy the intensity and satisfaction of defeating a boss.

Second entry puts two companies on the eye of news and organizations. A student from New York wonder what happen to all the merchandise that isn’t sold, so she when to investigate at H & M and Wal-mart stores and found a storage compartment with bags full of clothes. One would say “yes free clothes!” but these were shredded completely to the point the couldn’t be worn; local news on the move, they try to divert the situation with spoke-person, with only a promise “That they’ll donate to local shelters and organizations the clothes that isn’t sold instead of throwing it away”.

Third entry is a list of some of the pretties towns on America; some of the places I remember reading about are in Arizona, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, etc. If you live around this towns, tell me how live is over there as traveling and seeing new places is a hobby I enjoy. Check the list to see if your town is there close by.

Fourth entry had me wondering what was going on with a company many remember as ADV. 2008  had many changes as I started seeing other companies falling to the ground after years of being on the market (Geneon, Central Park Entertainment, etc.), then I start seeing ADV acquired titles being re-acquired by Bandai, Funimation, and others. This made me investigate on the whole concept (as well think that Funimation was being greedy on taking all this title), then I found an article on ANN that  made sense of the situation. I shall explain as best (according to how accurate the information it is); ADV made a contract with a Japanese company to obtain titles from Japan and bring them over here, as well as giving a certain percent of  ADV to the Japanese company. Later the company backed-out (I say on this stole) on the contract and began to lose company shares (money), so they let other companies assist them by buying part of the shares (company); and so began the fall of ADV. Now the company is owned by someone else and got renamed The Anime Network, with few titles remaining on their side. Check it at the link below.

Fifth entry is an analysis of the generation Y and which companies may correspond for them when it comes to a carrier. Industry experts conduct a survey to see which companies would work along for generation Y; some of the carriers include information processing and around those lines. Sixth entry puts the first 151 Pokemon on the drawing board as an artist re-sketches them to the traditional Japanese art style. Upon looking more into the web site, they display all the Pokemon from the 1st generation (red, blue, green) and 2nd generation (gold, silver, crystal) with very extravagant pictures for the art style. Look if you want to.

Seventh entry is an article first sited at Gametrailers from IGN as they report some information on Metroid: Other M. According to IGN, Nintendo has release the official Japanese site in which state “Release date: Summer ’10″; along with many of the mysteries one wants to find out is “How shall this production of Team Ninja will come?”. Eighth entry has smile and frowns in the Game Industry with the iPad; you ask “How come frowns and why not smiles?”. It is rather an ironic issue, Nintendo sees this device as a shameful product with nothing revolutionary, while game developers for the iPhone see it as an opportunity to develop more games on a larger screen; and ironically Sony is saying “Yes, thank you!” to Apple thinking that gamers will opt into buying a PSP over the iPod or so on. Ninth entry is an article first spotted in Gametrailers then sends you to Kotaku and is brought to you by Go Nintendo. We know that it shall be a long time before Nintendo trades in their training wheels on the Wii and use HD on the console; but not a fan who imagine what would the Legend of Zelda would look like in a higher definition (not much for me, as others said “we expected to see Link more manlier like if he was a real person”), and the background delivers almost. Tenth has the ongoing speculation on what Sega is doing with Project Needle Mouse . From what is known at the time Sonic is the only playable character, and now Sega is acquiring fan art and sketches for the box art. In addition, Kotaku commented that on Monday, Sega shall announce the name of the game *cough* Sonic 4 *cough*. Sigh, what happen to the days when Sonic was good and enjoyable (hinting consumers are bored), I miss playing Sonic Adventure and 2 before they crapped it with 2006.

Man, finding a picture of a Mettauru was harder than trying to find a good virus on the loose (even if I use Google); aside this here is the information I digged up from various sources of the net.

First dig was a little video given by The MMN from Go Nintendo; it’s very informative and useful. Right now we live in a society where merely everything is disposable and unfortunately when your favorite video game breaks down or gets scratch, it’s a mere goner. But back in the day, when people still used ROM cartridges, the game would be fine (depending the status of the game). This video shall prove how tough NES cartridges really are and make you a proud owner.

Second dig takes us to the land of Nintendo Papercraft; I remember one time seeing such creative mastery in this website (can’t remember if I spotted in Kotaku or Go Nintendo); anyway, the users have the instructions on how to create the ingenuous structures (and intriguing imagination). If you have any school project or presentation, this can save you (if your teacher gives it the ok?!); just watch out for Boo.

Third, fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh dig takes us the Land of Kotaku, with its thriving community. We have known EA as a bad corp. for quality games and tagged them with the Milk Cows, but recently a few gems have been found among all the -ware they release yearly (Dead Space Extraction, etc.) and we thank them for such a lovely rail-shooting game, even if investors don’t approve the lack of sales in their end. That’s right, the current CEO is being called out by investors for the movements he is making with games (no gems, more cows). Read the article for more information. Fourth dig; this article shows a chart on the research conducted based on sales; on how many people own a system; a game; which type it is; genre; market comparison on US, EU, and JP; type of game; and so on. Fifth dig; the President of Nintendo of America gives an interview on how the Nintendo Wii is doing and other related terms of the DS and software, and he states :the Wii is in stale for the lack of HD component and gaming. (Most) People know that the Wii isn’t competing for the Beauty Contest when it comes to the image quality of the XBOX 360 and PS3 (or even the games now). Do wonder when will Nintendo introduce to the consumer-based the console with HD gaming (looking at it 360 needs makeover, and PS3 already had one), but looking at the current era of gaming, it may be too soon to introduce a new console from all three companies (know how develop they 3 are right now).  Sixth dig is the introduction the movie adaptation of Tekken, and as the title says “it does not disappoint”. So people are currently thinking (even after looking at the trailer) ”it’s gonna suck bad”, but take a good look as that’s  how the game goes (new tournament, new fight). I can tell you this, it looks better than the Chun-Li movie and way better than that crapfest DB Evolution rip-off; at least it has a plot line.

Seventh dig is the analysis on how the game industry did over the holidays; includes a chart of the top games of December. Some XBOX and PS3 games, but a majority is Wii; I’m sad for those people who bought Modern Warfare 2 (stick to World of Wars) as Activision did some monopoly to the point that the development of the game was disgrace (less P1 and co-op, more online) plus with limitation and restrictions, it’s a trend of dollars I don’t want any other company following (everyone fears after the sales on MW2, other developers and publishers will do the same trick; time to go to the bargain store and buy me some E.T.). Eighth dig finally makes a fly to IGN with their list on the Top 100 games for the NES. You may look on the list to see if your favorite is on the list, argument which game should deserve the Top Spots, and emu..I mean go out and get them to add to the collection in your place. Tell me which one is your favorite.

Ninth dig is a web site I found while scavenging through the net. This site informs people and buyers of what anime is available to watch free (legal way ) and for those interested in merchandise, they have information on deals going on with coupons. It is a small gift for those interested.

Tenth dig is a recent easter egg found in MMN; for those who don’t know, Dr. Wily is the main villain in the Megaman (Rockman in Japan) series, creating trouble for Megaman with robot masters. Well, recently on the Street Fighter II comics from Udon Entertainment, they release an “easter egg” showing Dr. Wily (younger years) working as a scientist for Shadoloo, ad is seen standing next to Bison (Vega) on one of the pages.

Eleventh dig is recent; the review from Tatsunoko VS Capcom from Game Trailers (will post the others later). It’s interesting on how they take the game from all angles of the review, but you should see it for yourself to understand the concept of the game.

Yes, after an Internet crash and Fox difficulty, it is working (yay for minute draft save!). Also I would like to apologies for the delay on new updates (not that I can’t find stuff); lately my earning have taken a down slope and been out to look for a job (so hard everyone demands experience in years) but will get through it (want that Assistant Manager job but they prefer someone with 1-2 years in experience, why does it have to be hard teach someone).
