The Truth Behind Fatal Frame

19 03 2009

Do wish I Had a more user-friendly image for this (oh, wait the net).

A game which borrows a lot from the horror survival genre, and sets it at a level of where both Resident Evil and Silent Hill meet, and challenge you to take on their onslaught, but replaces creatures and zombies for ghost (content actually scary), and this game is pretty cool for a horror survival, rare to find nowadays, but worth mentioning, and its based on a true folklore story (creepy in a sense, yet seems to be real), it unfolds a dark past, and strange, yet dark Shinto rituals to keep the Hell Gate shut, until one day the ritual failed due to the cause of ties with the Earth.

Kind of complicated to explain, so I’ll give you two websites that explain it better than me, one of the sites is the actual place, where  the game was based on (some pics presented there, appear on the game, similar resemblance).

This game, along with the other 3 are worth checking out, rarely you get one of this gems that will scare you like in Death Space, you don’t know what to expect, literally!

While the game is appealing, the true place isn’t, according to local legend, “who ever enters the abandon building is used for the failed ritual”, *gulp* not so user friendly building is my guess.

Well…crap, got the chills after reading this article, hope I can sleep.
